I had to admit that tractors just ‘weren’t my thing’ the day I tried to drive our tractor without one of its tires.
Now, it didn’t appear at first glance to be missing a tire. My father had taken the front right tire off and left the tractor propped up on a jack while he took the tire to be repaired for a leak. Something he neglected to inform me.
Probably because he thought I would be astute enough to notice it was missing AN ENTIRE TIRE before I thought to drive it.
Boy, was he wrong…
Note: This Farmer Georgie story is made available via Medium, an online blogging platform. My newsletter fans receive a special ‘friends link’ to each story I send out so you can read it, even if you don’t have a Medium account yourself.
You can "clap" (the little ‘clapping hands’ symbol) on a story up to 50 times to help get it distributed to more readers, and show your support to the writer. Writers (like me!) are paid by the reading time spent on a story by Medium members. So the more claps, the more readers, the more I can write!
Thanks for joining the Farmer Georgie community and most importantly….
Keep on farming!
